Course Information

I compare Erin Hills to some of the great US Open sites, like Shinnecock, like Pebble Beach, like Oakmont. This stands up with all of them.  I really believe that.

-- Mike Davis, Executive Director, USGA

Erin Hills is a daily fee golf course built on the glacier-shaped terrain of southeast Wisconsin.  Even before opening for play in 2006, Erin Hills quickly gained the attention of the USGA and golf aficionados across the country.  It became the first course in history to be awarded a USGA championship even before being opened for play, and is one of only six public-access courses ever to be awarded the U.S. Open.

Erin Hills has been selected to host

 The 2017 US Open Championship

Major championships hosted to date include:

The 2011 US Amateur Championship

The 2008 US Women's Amateur Public Links Championship
