What's New:

New book:  Erin Hills

In late April, after two years of planning, Erin Hills released their first coffee table book.

It was written by recent Wisconsin Golf Hall of Fame inductee and award-winning sports writer for the Milwuakee Journal, Gary D'Amato and contains 121 of my photographs of Erin Hills and the land from 1995 through 2016.

The book traces the history of Erin Hills from the site's glacial beginnings  to the course's opening, remodeling and preparation for the 2017 US Open Championship and includes a comprehensive hole-by-hole look at the course which will test the world's best golfers June 15 - 18, 2017.

It was published by Classics of Golf and can be purchase diretly from them or through Erin Hills' online golf shop.       A 34-page preview of the book can be viewed here.

2017 Special Olympics Golf Outing  (May 22 at The River Club of Mequon)

While living in Denver in the mid 1970's I photographed and supported the important work done by the Special Olympics.

Afer moving back to Wisconsin I simply did not renew the association, dspite telling my wife every few years:  "You know, I should get involved with the Special Olympics again."

Many thanks to Bill Jones for calling me in late April to ask if I'd donate some prints of Erin Hills and Whistling Straits to the auction at this year's SO golf outing.  I agreed, and I also volunteered to photograph the event for them.  It was a wonderful day in support of an important cause, and I'm happy to be back in contact with such a great group of people.  If you care about this topic, please get involved yourself, or at least donate.             View the gallery of images from that day.
